General Manager – Property Planning and Design

About the company:

Reputable property developer with a diversified portfolio spanning residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute strategic planning for property development projects including market analysis, feasibility studies, due diligence, and financial evaluation.
• Drive project initiation activities and support early-stage project planning.
• Manage authority submissions, approvals, and stakeholder coordination.
• Establish and monitor overall project timelines from planning to approval stages.
• Oversee concept planning, layout planning, and design development to ensure functional and marketable products.
• Ensure design quality, consistency, and compliance across all developments.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to internal teams to enhance performance and capability.
• Monitor consultant performance and ensure project deliverables are achieved efficiently.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to minimize errors and variation orders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban & Town Planning, Architecture, or equivalent.
• Proven senior management experience in the property development industry.
• Strong knowledge of property development processes and project planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong decision-making and resource management capabilities.
