Admin Assistant (Insurance Services Industry) – Remote Working

About the Company:

Our client is a reputable general insurance agency with a strong focus on marine insurance, offering specialized coverage and solutions to meet the unique needs of maritime clients.

Job Description:

  • Able to advise customers on marine insurance matters.
  • To understand client’s needs and conveying it across to the insurance companies.
  • Acting on behalf of directors to seek quotations for clients.
  • Negotiate with general insurers on behalf of the clients with regards to marine insurance.
  • To be responsible and handle various accounts under the company.
  • Presenting a comprehensive report on each individual cases.
  • Managing and handling the claims process on behalf of the clients.
  • To perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a diploma or degree in any field.
  • 1-2 years of working experience, preferably in the insurance sector.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Malay languages with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated integrity and reliability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
