Analyst, Working Capital Management (6-months contract)

About the Client

Our client operates in the shipping and logistics industry, specializing in international freight forwarding, supply chain management, and multimodal transport solutions. They focus on ensuring efficient cargo movement across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely submission of assigned reports and tasks.
• Carry out investigation and perform variance analysis to provide finding and/or solution to superior on any anomalies or deviation.
• Assist superior in carrying out the change and analytical studies for any other assignments.
• Prepare Weekly AR Aging reporting and slides for Group and Carrier.
• Obtain, validate, and extract relevant information from various systems and Qliksense to perform measurement, analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy in the computation of reports and make revision as required.
• Prepare assigned reporting in timely manner. To highlight and communicate any reporting discrepancy to superior and/or stakeholder.
• Attend to ad-hoc requests and contribute to problem solving for any issues arising.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking, Commerce or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year and above related working experience is preferred.
• Experience in handling big data, exploratory analysis and data crunching is a must.
• Basic knowledge of shipping or logistics industry is an advantage.
• Good command in English & Malay language.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
• Knowledge of SAP system is preferred.
• Having adequate knowledge in finance and accounting to understand the key analysis metrics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
