Business Performance & Data Analytics Officer (6-months contract)

About the Client

Our client operates in the shipping and logistics industry, specializing in international freight forwarding, supply chain management, and multimodal transport solutions. They focus on ensuring efficient cargo movement across global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver assigned reports and tasks on routine basis.
• Carry out investigation and perform business analysis to provide finding and/or solution to superior on any anomalies or deviation.
• Assist superior in carrying out the change and analytical studies for any other assignments.
• Obtain, validate, and extract relevant information from various systems and business units to perform measurement, analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy in the computation of reports and make revision as required.
• Prepare assigned reporting in timely manner. To highlight and communicate any reporting discrepancy to superior and/or stakeholder.
• Attend to ad-hoc requests and contribute to problem solving for any issues arising.

Job Requirements:

• Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business/Statistics and/or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 years of relevant working experience in a similar function, preferably from a logistics or financial environment in management reporting or analytics role.
• Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words and Power point).
• Intermediate Excel level, can perform PIVOT, and various functions & formulas.
• Having adequate knowledge in finance and accounting to understand the key analysis metrics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
