Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Up keeping and maintaining statutory books of the Company as required by the Act
- Organizing and preparing agendas and papers for Board, Committee and General Meetings and to ensure meetings are properly conducted
- Taking minutes and drafting resolutions
- Supporting the Chairman in ensuring the board functions efficiently and effectively
- Preparing and lodging necessary statutory documents with relevant authorities
- Advising Directors on any updates/amendments of the relevant Acts/Regulations
- Providing advisory services in relation to company secretarial matters
- Drafting announcement for immediate release to Bursa Malaysia pursuant to the Listing Requirements
- Handling procedural and administrative matters as required by Companies Act and other legislation applicable to the Company
- Providing confirmation or certification on Company’s information to external parties or regulators
- Incorporating new companies
Requirements:
- Qualified Company Secretary with practicing certificate issued by the Companies Commission of Malaysia (Associate or Fellow of MAICSA)
- At least 10 years working experience in Public Listed Companies’ exposure or in management firm with experience in handling public listed companies
- Hold a Law Degree with strong academic credentials is an added advantage
- Effective writing/communication skills
- To manage affairs in a well-organized methodically and orderly manner
- Effective time management skills
