Job Summary:
An HRBP supports specific functions within a company to provide HR guidance, analyses metrics, resolves employee relations issues, and works with management to improve work relationships and productivity. This position is reporting to Managing Director from respective division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
- Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
- Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with Group HR to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, e.g. coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Implement and execute the company’s policies and procedures.
- Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Generate / produce HR reports for Management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management / Industrial Relations /Business Administration, or similar disciplines.
- Min. 10 years of experience in the HR industry in a similar role and capacity.
- Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Proficient in Google Docs & MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
- Able to cope in a high intensity and fast paced work environment.
- Candidates from shared service or MNC’s background are preferred
