About the Client

Our client is a rapidly growing electronics manufacturing company based in Perak, Malaysia, operating as a key regional hub for a well-established international group headquartered in Asia. Since its incorporation in 2018, the company has specialized in PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) and a wide range of electronic components, including resistors, capacitors, coils, and transformers.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct time and motion studies to improve line efficiency and eliminate non-value-added activities.
• Perform line balancing, workstation optimization, and layout improvements for SMT and assembly areas.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
• Lead cost reduction projects through productivity, material usage, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, Engineering) to support operational excellence.
• Design and implement work instructions, standard operating procedures, and ergonomic setups.
• Monitor and report KPIs such as efficiency, cycle time, and labor productivity.
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) by estimating manpower, capacity, and equipment needs.
• Plan factory layout changes based on capacity and production flow requirements.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with ISO and workplace safety standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or high-volume production environment.
• Strong knowledge of time study, line balancing, and productivity improvement.
• Proficient in data analysis and process simulation tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, AutoCAD, or related IE tools).
• Familiar with lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement methods (Kaizen, 5S, VSM).
• Experience with layout planning, capacity analysis, and ergonomics.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills across functions.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia
