IT Operations Engineer (Mandarin Speaker)

About the Client

Our client is a multinational corporation engaged in cross-border trade, foreign investments, and strategic global partnerships. Their operations encompass exporting and importing goods and services, establishing foreign subsidiaries, and forming alliances to access new markets and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily deployment and maintenance of company products.
• Assist customers in locating and analysing the root causes of issues related to business applications.
• Help customers resolve problems encountered during the implementation and operation of solutions.
• Responsible for delivering and implementing solutions, and empowering customers and partners.
• Maintain the customer simulation environment for solutions.
• Collaborate with the delivery and develop teams to provide a more comprehensive support loop.
• Responsible for tasks related to the containerization of application systems.
• Handle system deployment, monitoring enhancement, and emergency response for both public and private clouds.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience. Proficient in Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing.
• Proficient in Linux and familiar with the installation and configuration of common maintenance tools and services under Linux.
• Familiar with Kubernetes, Docker, Container,etc, with an in-depth understanding of Docker/Container networking, storage, and security.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Shell and Python.
• Familiar with common open-source middleware and databases’ (Nginx, Tomcat, HAProxy, Redis, MySQL, MongoDB, LVS, Keepalived, etc.) high-availability architectures, and knowledgeable about their installation, deployment, optimization, and maintenance. Proficient in Docker commands and Dockerfile writing.
• Familiar with K8S ecosystem components such as Harbor, Kiali, Docker, etc.
• Knowledgeable in network protocols like TCP/IP and HTTP, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills, capable of quickly locating and resolving operational faults.
