The client is an industrial automation and power system provider where we are principally involved in the design, manufacture, assembly, integration and installation of process control systems, power distribution panels and products, and Ex solar PV systems mainly serving customers in the oil and gas, grains and edible oils, and food manufacturing industries.
Job Descriptions
- Drive sales growth and achieve assigned targets for Low Voltage (LV) segment, Medium Voltage (MV) and other electrical solutions.
- Responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy in selected segments within market.
- Responsible in delivering against agreed sales targets in support of the Head of sales and the overall sales target.
- Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio and qualifying new leads to maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel for future sales.
- Maintain a deep understanding of clients’ business models, overall goals and business needs and provide solution.
- Develop strategies for key target and communicate current market intelligence back to business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements.
- Generate proposal, initiate and participate in bid process where applicable, plan customer meetings, and demonstrate equipment capabilities on company products to assigned clients.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in MV and LV switchgear, power distribution, or related electrical products.
- Ability to apply judgment and decision making, strong attention to detail, pleasant demeanour and teamwork skills.
- Sales and target-oriented.
- Meticulous, analytical and able to work independently in a challenging working environment.
- Proficient in Mandarin will be added advantage to communicate with China customer
