About the Client
Our client is a Malaysia-based industrial automation and power systems provider with operations across Asia, including Thailand, Singapore, and China. They specialize in process control, explosion-proof (Ex) solar PV systems, and power distribution solutions, primarily serving the oil & gas, edible oils, and food manufacturing sectors. Their extensive export reach spans over 24 countries across the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Europe regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales initiatives for the company’s products and services within the Process Control Industry,
Oils & Fats Industry, Oil & Gas, and Petrochemical sectors. - Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through effective prospecting and lead
generation. - Providing sales support to the team, including preparing sales proposals, managing customer
relationships, and closing deals. - Assisting with the development and execution of sales plans and strategies to meet and exceed
targets. - Monitoring and analyzing sales performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the sales team..
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments, market trends, and competitor activity.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Electrical / Control Systems / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field , preferably within the energy/oil & gas or a related industry.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a customer-centric approach.
