About the Company
Our client operates in the maritime shipping industry, specializing in container transportation and logistics services. They are a global leader known for their extensive network and efficient cargo solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality, timely and accurate completion for accounting activities in line with Group’s standard operating policies and procedures
- Responsible to maintain and oversee day to day operations of the team. Review and validate deliverables prior submission to internal, external stakeholders.
- Reviewing monthly balance sheet schedules prepared by accounts executives for group management team.
- Perform trending and variance analysis review.
- Accurate payment process including treasury forecast.
- Work closely with shipping partners on accounting and financial matters.
- Ensure financial terms of the billings are aligned with clauses prepared in accordance to agreement signed by partners.
- Establish rapport and credibility with Business Units Heads and provide consistent support as an integral component of business plan.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Minimum 5 to 6 years of working experience and preferably 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and computer applications.
- Proficiency in accounting applications like SAP
- Have a strong initiative, good interpersonal & communication skills in order to deal effectively with both internal and external parties.
- Dedicated, meticulous with strong analytical skills
- Working experience in a Global Finance Shared Service Centre/GLC companies will be an added advantage.
