Senior Backend/Full Stack Developer

About the Company

Our client is a prominent training and education provider specializing in corporate masterclasses, offering tailored learning solutions across various industries. They are known for delivering high-quality programs that focus on professional development and skill enhancement for businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead backend development, focusing on API design, implementation, and integration with various open-source projects.
• Set up, manage, and maintain containerized environments using Docker, orchestrating services across multiple API ports.
• Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and secure backend systems for MVPs and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical errors, ensuring the stability and performance of backend services.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, Technical Lead, and Integration Specialist to align backend development with project goals.
• Document development processes, technical specifications, and best practices for backend development and integration.
• Work closely with external partners to oversee outsourced projects, ensuring they meet technical standards and deadlines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development stacks, tools, and methodologies within the company.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on API development and integration.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java, with a strong understanding of backend frameworks.
• Extensive experience with Docker, including containerization, orchestration, and deployment of microservices.
• Strong knowledge of database management, both SQL and NoSQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in building and deploying MVPs with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
