Job Purpose : To manage and negotiate complex contracts with vendors and customers, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, company policies, and customer/ vendor standards.
Responsible to/Report to : Group Manager, Contract Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors and customers, including master service agreements, statements of work, amendments, and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, company policies, and customer/vendor standards.
- Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to close-out, including monitoring deliverables and timelines, resolving disputes, and managing renewals and extensions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, operations, and procurement, to ensure contracts are aligned with business objectives and meet company requirements.
- Analyze contract performance and identify areas for improvement, including risk mitigation strategies and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and customers, including conducting regular business reviews and addressing issues as needed.
- Responsible for drafting contract agreements, ensuring legal compliance, and reviewing and evaluating tenders.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in contract management or related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a multinational company.
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
- Proven track record of negotiating complex contracts and managing the contract lifecycle.
- Experienced in drafting contract agreements, ensuring legal compliance, and reviewing and evaluating tenders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
