Senior R&D Executive (Research & Development)

Responsible to/Report to: Head of Research and Development

Key Responsibilities:

1. Documentation of technology and trade secrets.

2. Assisting Head, R&D with development of new technologies, materials, and processes.

3. Cross collaborating with the marketing team to understand customer needs and market trends.

4. Participating in team meetings and providing regular updates on project progress.

5. Collecting & analyzing test data to recommend for further research improvements.

6. Preparation of technical reports.

7. Participate in failure analysis and explore solutions.

8. Make independent studies, analyses, interpretations, and conclusions for new formulation developments.

9. Manage and control flow of information regarding all IP documents. (Trade secret, patent, processes)

10. Provide technical guidance to the production team to address production issues.

11. Preparation of business plans, financial & marketing strategies in collaboration with Group Corporate

12. Planning and Innovation & Commercialization departments.

13. Assist Head, R&D with all operational & technical matters.

14. Implementation and management of ISO9001:2015 within production facility.

15. Develop and manage testing & certification activities including recommendations of standard and roadmap.

Job Requirements:

1. Possesses Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field.

2. At least 2 years of experience as an R&D Engineer.

3. Advanced analytical skills and mathematical skills.

4. Excellent communication skills.

5. Strong analysis, planning, initiative and able to work independently.

6. Systematic & positive problem-solving skills.
