About the Role:

We are seeking a Software Development Technical Director who are experienced in modern web architectures, cloud platforms and strong people management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Development:

• Oversee the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
• Strong background in software architecture (microservices, cloud native development, headless).
• Back End Tech Stack: Java Spring Boot, Node JS.
• Front End Tech Stack: React JS / Vue JS.
• Ensure best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.

Technology Strategy & Leadership:

• Define and implement technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the adoption of modern content management, microservices and AI-driven innovations.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage.

People & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead and mentor technology teams across Malaysia and Hong Kong, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Build and scale teams, ensuring effective talent management and development.

Key Requirements:

• Strong background in software architecture (microservices, cloud native development, headless).
• Back End Tech Stack: Java Spring Boot, Node JS.
• Front End Tech Stack: React JS / Vue JS.
• Experienced in cloud platforms – AWS, GCP, Azure etc.
• Must be able to communicate in Cantonese to liaise with Hong Kong clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
