Senior Cocos Developer (Mandarin Speaker, Kuala Lumpur)

About Our Client:

Our client is a China-based company specializing in mobile game development. Founded eight years ago by a team with roots in Tencent and Huawei, the company has successfully expanded its operations across Southeast Asia, including South Korea, India, and Bangladesh. As they continue to grow rapidly on a global scale, they are eager to have you join their dynamic team!

Job Responsibilities: 

1. Develop Ludo, and other board games using Cocos Creator or Cocos 2dx.
2. Design and develop the game client framework and core features to ensure high efficiency and stability.
3. Resolve issues such as disconnection recovery to ensure smooth gameplay.
4. Optimize game performance and resolve compatibility and stability issues.
5. Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality products on time.

Requirements: 

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
2. At least 3 years of experience with Cocos Creator or Cocos 2dx development. Candidate who has experience with Unity also welcome to apply.
3. Experience in developing Ludo, or other board games.
4. Proficiency in TypeScript (TS) or Lua development or JavaScript (JS),
5. Ability to independently resolve disconnection recovery issues and optimize performance.
6. Good teamwork skills, with an entrepreneurial mindset preferred.
7. Must able to communicate verbally and writing in Mandarin.
