{"id":13189,"date":"2024-09-25T07:01:03","date_gmt":"2024-09-25T07:01:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=13189"},"modified":"2024-11-08T16:18:12","modified_gmt":"2024-11-08T16:18:12","slug":"engineering-underwriting-manager","status":"expired","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/zh\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&p=13189","title":{"rendered":"Engineering Underwriting Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>About the Company<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>Our client is a multinational company and a subsidiary of a major global financial group.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the Engineering Underwriting with high-quality underwriting competency as per the agreed company\u2019s service standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform market research and development of Engineering insurance by analyzing market needs and formulating profitable and sellable products.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and strengthen department\u2019s internal controls, ensuring full compliance with the company\u2019s policies, procedures, corporate governance, and other related legal and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with external department resources (e.g., claims trends, loss ratio, and relevant reports) and work closely with Claims and Business Departments to address adverse trends and take remedial actions.<\/li>\n<li>Periodically review underwriting guidelines for continuous improvement and update business units for full compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Provide professional advice, guidance, and support to Business Units and Branch personnel to foster profitable business growth in Engineering underwriting, including Loss Prevention measures.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the department\u2019s administrative systems, procedures, and processes for sound operations and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Plan, develop, and control subordinates\u2019 activities to align with the company\u2019s values and direction within a harmonious working environment, ensuring effective communication and leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Academic Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering Underwriting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For more information, you may reach out to Hoyyian at her email, hoyyian.tang@peoplelake.asia or contact her at 017-811 6319.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Company: Our client is a multinational company and a subsidiary of a major global financial group.
