    About The Company:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    2. Their portfolio spans to over more than 30 companies, including cement and phosphate manufacturing, property development, construction, trading, green technology, oil tools, trading, telco infrastructure and financial services.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Job Purpose:<\/strong> To support the General Manager, Group Finance in the area of financial controllership, HQ entities with the on-going restructuring of the Group\u2019s Finance function.<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Key Responsibilities:<\/strong>
      \nTo assist and support the General Manager on the Group\u2019s Finance controllership in HQ entities on the following:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank & treasury, and general ledger functions.<\/li>\n
      2. Ensure transactions and balances are accurately recorded in accordance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).<\/li>\n
      3. Support month-end and year-end account close processes, ensuring timely reconciliations and account closing.<\/li>\n
      4. Review and analyse accounts, cash flow, and profit projections to generate management reports that reflect the financial performance of the business against plan.<\/li>\n
      5. Lead projects like revenue recognition, process improvement, and system implementation<\/li>\n
      6. Review business models, identify finance and tax risks, and propose solutions.<\/li>\n
      7. Assist management in setting the annual budget and tracking sales revenue and expenditure budgets.<\/li>\n
      8. Manage and supervise the accurate and timely maintenance of accounts receivables, accounts payables, and the overall accounting and financial reporting process.<\/li>\n
      9. Supervise the preparation of audit and tax schedules, and assist in corporate tax computations and submissions.<\/li>\n
      10. Assist the implementation and improvement of SOPs and internal controls process to supporting the smooth running of business and finance operation.<\/li>\n
      11. Assist in developing and administering financial and operational policies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements, financial regulations (local Accounting Standard, Income Tax Act, and Services Tax Act), and Group’s policies.<\/li>\n
      12. Mentor, coach and groom finance staff in the department.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

         <\/p>\n

        Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Degree in Accounting \/ Finance \/ Professional qualification ACCA\/CPA and a member of IIAM\/ MIA\/CIMA\/MICPA.<\/li>\n
        2. Preferably 5 years of working experience in financial \/ accounting or relevant fields.<\/li>\n
        3. Strong in accounting \/ financial \/ audit analysis, communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n
        4. Able to work independently, compliance driven and observe confidentiality.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
