    About The Company:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Our client is a leading conglomerate listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia and is a major private-sector player in Sarawak.<\/li>\n
    2. Their portfolio spans to over more than 30 companies, including cement and phosphate manufacturing, property development, construction, trading, green technology, oil tools, trading, telco infrastructure and financial services.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Job Purpos<\/strong>e: To support the General Manager, Group Finance in the area of financial controllership, with the on-going restructuring of the Group\u2019s Finance function.<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Oversee Group\u2019s Finance controllership in HQ entities.<\/li>\n
      2. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with MFRS (Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards) and IFRS.<\/li>\n
      3. Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia listing requirements, Securities Commission guidelines, and other local regulations.<\/li>\n
      4. Lead the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual reports, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial disclosures.<\/li>\n
      5. Oversee and guide country finance teams on month-end closing and accounting matters.<\/li>\n
      6. Drafting of statutory financial statements of the Group and sub-group, and review of subsidiary companies\u2019 statutory accounts to relevant regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n
      7. Prepare notes highlighting key trends and variances to profit or loss, balance sheet, analytical reports and insights on the impact of changes on business.<\/li>\n
      8. Prepare RRPT report and ensure submission to Group Internal Audit Department within the agreed timeline.<\/li>\n
      9. Prepare templates and ensure Business Units (BU) receive the information required for reports.<\/li>\n
      10. Assist in preparation of Group Cash Flow statement.<\/li>\n
      11. Oversee group-level adjustments and reconciliations.<\/li>\n
      12. Conduct comprehensive research on MFRS and Bursa Malaysia Listing requirements.<\/li>\n
      13. Monitor, interpret, and summarise changes in accounting standards and listing rules.<\/li>\n
      14. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.<\/li>\n
      15. Document, review, and improve financial policies and procedures to enhance control and operational efficiency.<\/li>\n
      16. Liaise with different stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide suitable recommendations.<\/li>\n
      17. Participate in the development and presentation of educational materials for internal audiences.<\/li>\n
      18. Ad-hoc assignment from the Management<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

         <\/p>\n

        Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Degree in Accounting \/ Finance \/ Professional qualification ACCA\/CPA and a member of IIAM\/ MIA\/CIMA\/MICPA.<\/li>\n
        2. Preferably 8 years of working experience in financial \/ accounting or relevant fields.<\/li>\n
        3. Strong in accounting \/ financial \/ audit analysis, communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n
        4. Able to work independently, compliance driven and observe confidentiality.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
