Role Overview<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Accountant<\/strong> will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of financial reporting. This position involves preparing draft audited financial statements, liaising with auditors, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Prepare Draft Audited Financial Statements and Liaise with Auditors<\/strong><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd39 Prepare and draft the company\u2019s annual audited financial statements
\n\ud83d\udd39 Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for the audit process
\n\ud83d\udd39 Address audit queries and ensure the timely completion of the audit<\/p>\n

2\ufe0f<\/strong>. <\/strong>Prepare Reports for Board Paper Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd39 Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis for presentation to the Board of Directors
\n\ud83d\udd39 Ensure that the reports are accurate, clear and aligned with the strategic objectives of the company<\/p>\n

3\ufe0f<\/strong>. <\/strong>Prepare and Analyze Financial Information<\/strong><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd39 Prepare financial information as required by the supervisor, such as variance analysis, forecasts and financial modelling
\n\ud83d\udd39 Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential risks and areas for improvement<\/p>\n

4\ufe0f<\/strong>. <\/strong>Prepare and Maintain Listings for Compliance with MFRS<\/strong><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd39 Ensure that all financial records and statements comply with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS)
\n\ud83d\udd39 Maintain up-to-date compliance listings and documentation for MFRS compliance<\/p>\n

5\ufe0f<\/strong>. <\/strong>Ensure Compliance with Accounting Standards<\/strong><\/p>\n

\ud83d\udd39 Ensure that the company\u2019s accounting practices are adhere to all applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
\n\ud83d\udd39 Regularly update processes to reflect any changes in accounting regulations or standards<\/p>\n

Job Requirements<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2714 Education:<\/strong>
\n\ud83c\udf93 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting <\/strong>or a related field <\/strong>and a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA \/ CPA or equivalent)<\/p>\n

\u2714 Experience & Skills:<\/strong>
\n\ud83d\udccc At least 8-10 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in external audit and commercial accounting<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccc Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical and critical thinking abilities<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccc Strong understanding of financial reporting, auditing and compliance with accounting standards<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccc Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccc High proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccc Strong attention to detail and accuracy<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccc Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udccc Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment<\/p>\n
