They has developed two technology solutions: 1. a unique digital ecosystem that transforms and simplifies the e-payment experience for consumers while simultaneously allowing them to earn rewards; and 2. a digital F&amp;B management system providing merchants with a one-stop management and automated solution to digitalize their businesses.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key executive responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company. This role involves managing financial planning, risk management, financial reporting, treasury, and strategic financial decision-making. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to drive the company\u2019s financial strategy, ensuring profitability, sustainability, and growth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Financial Strategy and Planning:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the development of financial strategies that align with the company\u2019s long-term objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Develop financial forecasts, models, and budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Provide financial insights and recommendations for business planning, strategic initiatives, and capital allocation.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&amp;A) processes, ensuring robust financial modeling and projections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Financial Reporting and Compliance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards and other relevant regulatory frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the preparation and presentation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including tax laws, audit requirements, and financial reporting standards.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee external audits and manage relationships with auditors and regulatory bodies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Treasury:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the company\u2019s treasury functions, including cash flow management, and capital structure optimization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Financial Leadership and Team Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high levels of performance and engagement.<\/li>\n<li>Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the finance department.<\/li>\n<li>Provide leadership in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with departments such as legal and operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stakeholder Communication:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure transparency and effective communication of the company\u2019s financial performance and strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and present financial results to the board of directors and other key stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mergers and Acquisitions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead or support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including financial due diligence, valuation, and integration processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Operational Efficiency and Cost Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Drive initiatives to enhance profitability and optimize working capital.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree\/MBA\/Professional qualification in Finance\/Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in managing teams and working with senior leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong leadership and people management skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of financial analysis and accounting standards.<\/li>\n<li>Strong in group consolidation and restructuring.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<li>High level of integrity and transparency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledgeable in US Listing Requirements and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please be informed that only shortlisted candidate will be notified.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kindly contact Ms. Jamie via WhatsApp at 012-2389953 or via email at jamie.tan@peoplelake.asia if you need further information<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Client:\u00a0 Solutions provider developing innovative technology platforms.
