You will play a crucial role in leading technology teams, engaging in sales pitches, and driving the adoption of innovative solutions that enhance business growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Solution Architecture &amp; Development<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Oversee the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance digital solutions platforms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive cloud-native and modern architecture strategies using platforms like <strong>Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)<\/strong>, commercetools or similar, Headless CMS like Builder.io, or Contentful and Drupal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure best practices in DevOps, CI\/CD, and cloud technologies (AWS \/ GCP \/ Azure etc).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Technology Strategy &amp; Leadership<\/span><\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Define and implement technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead the adoption of modern content management, microservices and AI-driven innovations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive the development of a Google Cloud Platform capability in the region with an emphasis on Data Engineering and AI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to drive competitive advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em>People &amp; Stakeholder Management<\/em><\/span><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead and mentor technology teams across Malaysia and Hong Kong, fostering a high-performance culture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build and scale teams, ensuring effective talent management and development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, and delivery) to align technology solutions with business goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Sales &amp; Business Engagement<\/span><\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Actively participate in sales pitches, providing technology expertise to secure new business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop technical proposals and innovative solutions to address client needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner with business teams to drive client engagement, pre-sales strategies, and digital transformation initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Key Requirements<\/span><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Experience in technology leadership, with a strong background in digital transformation.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Working experience in software consulting agency (current or previous experience) is a must<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Strong background in&nbsp;Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)<\/strong>, MACH architecture,&nbsp;<strong>microservice<\/strong>s and&nbsp;<strong>cloud technologies<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Expertise in cloud platforms &#8211; Google Cloud or AWS <\/strong>etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Proven people management experience<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on experience in sales pitches, technical pre-sales, and client-facing engagements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid understanding of AI-driven solutions and innovative digital strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work closely with business teams to develop technology roadmaps and drive execution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, kindly contact Sunny Khoo via WhatsApp at 012-5164406 or via email at sunny.khoo@peoplelake.asia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Company: About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Technology to lead our APAC technology strategy, focusing on Malaysia and Hong Kong.
