Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Product Management (50%)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Define product positioning and product life cycle management, including range extensions, deletions, supersessions, etc. Implement product policy for range in ASEAN region<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Regular review of range, including gap analysis against vehicle Parc and competitor comparisons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Updating of range to meet range coverage policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Monitor customer requirements and competitor moves, regular benchmarking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Start and coordinate NPI process<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Assist supplier technical compliance performance & seek continuous improvement<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Coordinate with suppliers for product specification, including packaging, label, inserts, product appearance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Coordinate with technical department for the new product training for internal and external before the new product training handover to technical department\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Sourcing (30%)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Define sourcing strategy for each product category and implement<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Perform sourcing studies to maintain best in class sourcing and world class cost prices<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Supplier acquisition<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Make sourcing decision making<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Set up supplier contracts and ongoing management of contracts<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Cost down<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Commercial negotiations with suppliers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        • Planning for Annual volumes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Implement the stocking policy for the new product and existing product<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Perform stock planning for the new product before the supply chain department take over \u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Marketing (10%)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            \n
          • Create marketing plans geared toward target groups for each key product within portfolio, in line with company strategies and targets and within budget.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Develop and implement Brand and Communication strategy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Conduct appropriate market research, competitive activities analysis and their products and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Budget management, to deliver all marketing activities within the agreed budget.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Financials: (10%)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • Monthly monitoring of key financial figures and co-ordinate actions between departments where recovery needed or opportunities are presented.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Responsibility for product line sales, Gross Margin in Malaysia against Operating plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              Key Performance Measures<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • Responsibility for product line sales, Gross Margin in Malaysia against Operating plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • To develop promotional campaigns, customer incentive program<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Support operations team to update the costing and maintain the database in system<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • Responsible for range extension.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • To manage and meet monthly reporting dateline as required by management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                Qualification and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  \n
                • Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Minimum 5 – 6 years of experience, preferably in the automotive industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Proven experience working as a distributor and managing wholesaler networks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Strong understanding of the product management processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email, and internet applications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                • Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Proficiency in the Chinese language, both written and verbal, will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
