To support this growth, they are seeking a <strong>Corporate Secretary<\/strong> to play a pivotal role in managing board governance, regulatory compliance and the secretarial function across several expanding entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide full suite of company secretarial services for the Group and its subsidiaries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage Board and Management meeting logistics, agenda preparation and minute-taking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advise management on corporate law, compliance and governance best practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain statutory records, ensure timely filings (returns, resolutions, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support internal audit, risk and legal teams on regulatory matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with stakeholders including directors, regulators, auditors and partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate director onboarding and mandatory training.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in secretarial duties for new entities being formed (local and regional).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ICSA-qualified (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience in company secretarial function (preferably in financial institutions or fintech).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience managing board matters for a <strong>listed or listing-prepared company<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>Companies Act 2016<\/strong>, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and relevant financial sector guidelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a bonus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on, structured, adaptable to rapid change and corporate restructuring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong professional discretion in handling confidential matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interested candidates, please contact:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kwa Kheng Sun<\/strong><br>Tel: 016-216 1772<br>Email: <a href=\"mailto:khengsun.kwa@peoplelake.asia\">khengsun.kwa@peoplelake.asia<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About our client Our client is a pioneering force in Malaysia\u2019s fintech sector, offering cutting-edge digital financial solutions and driving transformative change across the industry.
