This pivotal hands-on role requires a seasoned professional to lead all governance, assurance, and ISO certification activities, ensuring operational integrity and providing critical reporting and advice to senior leadership and the Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Plan, execute, and report on various governance and assurance reviews, including post-remediation validations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be responsible for the business risk register in conjunction with the appropriate risk management plans and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct ongoing risk assessments and assist in developing and executing a dynamic risk assurance plan to address identified risk areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead improvements and the implementation of industry-wide compliance and controls across the organisation. What are the key regulatory frameworks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead compliance related change management initiatives within the team and across the organisation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support management in handling complex issues with consultants, auditors and\/or external regulators, including conducting audit and driving ISO standard certification and re-certification process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and communicate effective, data-driven reporting and updates to support decisions and outcomes for the business.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate and report on risk and compliance within the organisation to appropriate leadership within the business, including to the Board when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>carry out policy and regulations compliance activities, including drafting of policies and related documents, conducting awareness training and communication, across the organisation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>support business functions in relation to compliance due diligence questionnaires.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to an environment that fosters innovation and enables continuous improvement of the risk and compliance mindset across the organisation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consult with cross-functional stakeholders on risks relevant to their processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate impeccable ethics by acting as a role model for values, integrity, and professional conduct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remain up to date with industry best practice within the risk and regulatory environment, and how this may affect processes and compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc projects and related duties as and when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comply with the Company\u2019s HSE regulations and policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum of 15 years of experience in a dedicated risk, compliance, or internal audit role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven hands-on experience in leading and managing a full ISO certification process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining a corporate-wide risk register and compliance framework.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience drafting organizational policies and conducting company-wide training and awareness programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated ability to report to and advise senior leadership on risk and compliance matters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agile, business-oriented mindset capable of applying principles across various industries and business functions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge of data privacy and protection principles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience interacting with external auditors, consultants, and\/or regulators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High ethical standards and integrity, acting as a role model for company values<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please be informed that only shortlisted candidate will be notified.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kindly contact Ms. Jamie via WhatsApp at 012-2389953 or via email at jamie.tan@peoplelake.asia if you need further information<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Client A global technology leader in high-performance computing (HPC) and geoscience software, driving innovation for the energy, resources, and scientific sectors through sustainable and advanced data solutions.
