{"id":16434,"date":"2025-09-29T03:36:59","date_gmt":"2025-09-29T03:36:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=16434"},"modified":"2025-09-29T03:37:01","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T03:37:01","slug":"doctor-veterinarian-langkawi","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/zh\/jobs\/doctor-veterinarian-langkawi\/","title":{"rendered":"Doctor Veterinarian (Langkawi)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the company:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A leading tourism and leisure group specializing in marine life attractions and educational experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage the animal clinic, R&amp;D lab equipment, and veterinary facilities. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the health and well-being of all animals, including penguins, seals, and rainforest species. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with the Curator and team on animal care, habitats, and daily operations. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep all required records for animals, facilities, and veterinary work. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor air and water quality, and oversee treatment programs. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create and update SOPs for feeding, disease checks, treatments, post-mortems, quarantine, and prevention. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead breeding programs for selected species and suggest facility upgrades. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carry out research to improve animal housing and support systems. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train staff in animal care, veterinary practices, and safe handling. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner with NGOs, government bodies, and universities on research and conservation projects. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recommend new ideas to improve animal exhibits and operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hands-on veterinary experience, preferably with aquatic and wildlife species. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong interest in research, conservation, and animal welfare education. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good teamwork and communication skills to work with colleagues and partners. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leadership skills to guide and motivate the team in delivering excellent animal care.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, you may reach out to Grace Tan via email (grace.tan@peoplelake.asia) or WhatsApp (+6018-780 1215)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the company: A leading tourism and leisure group specializing in marine life attractions and educational experiences.
