You will work across the business to ensure effective governance and oversight of financial crime risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>FCC Framework &amp; Policy Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating all AML\/CFT policies and procedures, including those for customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and sanction screening.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct periodic reviews and timely updates of all policies to implement changes in rules and regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor daily for new regulatory developments, advise relevant staff, and help implement necessary changes to our compliance controls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Advisory &amp; Stakeholder Engagement:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide expert advice and guidance to all business units on AML\/CFT matters, including customer onboarding, PEP status, sanctions, and irregular transaction reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act as a liaison for law enforcement inquiries, ensuring all requests are validated and handled appropriately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review AML due diligence requests from business partners and coordinate responses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Quality Assurance:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist in developing the annual AML\/CFT Compliance Assurance plan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform quality assurance reviews on high-risk customer onboarding, transaction monitoring, and sanction screening processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Training &amp; Awareness:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Support the planning and execution of the AML\/CFT training and awareness program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and disseminate internal compliance newsletters and other awareness communications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with the HR team to deploy mandatory AML\/CFT e-learning and track completion rates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reporting &amp; Governance:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist in preparing and submitting detailed AML\/CFT reports for Senior Management and Board-level committees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the response to findings and queries from internal and external audits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the periodic regulatory reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevant AML\/CFT certifications (e.g., CAMS, ICA) are a strong advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>15 years of experience in an AML\/CFT compliance role, preferably within financial services or a related industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge &amp; Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong understanding of AML\/CFT regulations, customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, sanction screening, and PEP assessment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical experience in drafting policies, conducting QA reviews, and responding to audit findings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to help plan and execute effective training and awareness programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skilled in preparing compliance reports and managing regulatory and internal queries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across different departments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please be informed that only shortlisted candidate will be notified.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kindly contact Ms. Jamie via WhatsApp at 012-2389953 or via email at jamie.tan@peoplelake.asia if you need further information<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Role:In this key role, you will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and enhancement of our Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Financing of Terrorism (AML\/CFT) framework.
