{"id":17389,"date":"2026-02-27T04:49:31","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T04:49:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=17389"},"modified":"2026-02-27T04:50:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T04:50:57","slug":"java-lead-developer-i-gaming-project-hybrid-working-arrangement","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/zh\/jobs\/java-lead-developer-i-gaming-project-hybrid-working-arrangement\/","title":{"rendered":"Java Lead Developer (i-gaming project) &#8211; hybrid working arrangement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">About the Company<\/span><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Software Development company that develops back office applications for overseas clients operating online betting business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">About the Role<\/span><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We are seeking a hands-on Java Lead Developer to oversee the design, development, and optimization of our backend services. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will lead a team of Java developers in building and maintaining a real-time, high-availability API platform for live sports data. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills in Spring Boot, MySQL, and AWS, with leadership experience and a deep understanding of agile CI\/CD practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Responsibilities<\/span><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>System Design &amp; Architecture<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead backend architecture decisions in collaboration with product and infrastructure teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance services using Spring Boot and Hibernate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Own the system architecture, refactoring strategy, and technical roadmap for backend services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Development &amp; Quality<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Write and review clean, testable code in Java.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish coding standards and best practices for the team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guide adoption of automated testing, code reviews, and static analysis tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Team Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mentor junior and mid-level Java developers; conduct regular code walkthroughs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint retrospectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with frontend and QA teams for seamless integration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DevOps &amp; CI\/CD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collaborate on deployment pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, and AWS services (e.g., RDS, EC2, S3).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support monitoring, logging, and performance optimization (e.g., ElastiCache, load balancers).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Requirements<\/span><\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong in Java 11+, Spring Boot, Hibernate\/JPA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solid experience with MySQL or equivalent RDBMS.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiar with AWS stack: RDS, EC2, S3, ElastiCache.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in CI\/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and build tools (Maven).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Version control via GitLab or GitHub<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience building RESTful APIs and scalable backend systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Salary Range:\u00a0RM 12,000 \u2013 RM 15,000 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please be informed that only shortlisted candidate will be notified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, kindly reach out to Sunny Khoo via Whatsapp at 012-5164406 or via email at sunny.khoo@peoplelake.asia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Company: A Software Development company that develops back office applications for overseas clients operating online betting business.
