{"id":17422,"date":"2026-03-05T08:29:00","date_gmt":"2026-03-05T08:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=17422"},"modified":"2026-03-17T06:56:35","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T06:56:35","slug":"financial-reporting-accountant-6-months-contract","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/zh\/jobs\/financial-reporting-accountant-6-months-contract\/","title":{"rendered":"Financial Reporting Accountant (6-months contract)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the company:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A global leader in shipping and logistics, providing reliable transport and supply chain solutions worldwide with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Role:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsible for supporting general ledger (GL) activities, including preparing journal entries, assisting in the monthly closing process, and ensuring accurate financial reporting for the Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare and post monthly journal entries (JE) accurately and on time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit &amp; Loss (P&amp;L) schedules, investigate significant variances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly management and statutory reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with stakeholders, corporate teams, and country controllers to ensure accruals and payments are properly justified and posted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform consolidated reporting for the Group and ensure timely submission to supervisors and relevant stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist managers with periodic reports and ad-hoc requests from stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with external auditors to resolve accounting issues promptly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide backup support to team members and take on ad-hoc assignments as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Finance or Accounting. Professional accounting qualifications (CPA, ACCA, CA) are a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience; 1\u20132 years of audit experience is an advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in a Shared Service Center is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of SAP or similar consolidation tools is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to work independently, as part of a team, and under tight schedules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High level of integrity, responsibility, and strong work ethics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, you may reach out to Grace Tan via email (grace.tan@peoplelake.asia) or WhatsApp (+6018-780 1215)<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the company: A global leader in shipping and logistics, providing reliable transport and supply chain solutions worldwide with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.
