{"id":17668,"date":"2026-04-13T11:30:50","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T11:30:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=17668"},"modified":"2026-04-13T11:30:51","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T11:30:51","slug":"finance-manager-3","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/zh\/jobs\/finance-manager-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Finance Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the company:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our client is a diversified Malaysian public-listed group with operations in energy, F&amp;B, tourism, and manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Financial Management and Reporting<\/strong> &#8211; Lead and manage the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations for one of the entities, including timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in line with Group requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Budgeting, Forecasting and Planning<\/strong> &#8211; Lead the annual budget and periodic forecasting process and provide variance analysis, financial models and planning support for operations and capital expenditure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Internal Controls, Governance and Compliance<\/strong> &#8211; Establish, maintain and improve financial controls, policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit and Group requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cash Flow and Working Capital Management<\/strong> &#8211; Manage cash flow, banking matters, receivables, payables, fixed assets and capital expenditure controls to support operational continuity and financial discipline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Business Partnering<\/strong> &#8211; Work closely with department heads and management to provide financial insight, cost control support and commercial analysis for decision-making.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Team Leadership<\/strong> &#8211; Lead, supervise and develop the finance team and promote a professional, ethical and high-performance finance culture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Group Reporting Liaison<\/strong> &#8211; Act as the primary finance liaison with Group Headquarters and escalate key financial risks, control weaknesses and compliance matters to the Group Financial Controller in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline. Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent is preferred. Membership in MIA is an advantage, subject to company policy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 to 5 years in a managerial or finance leadership role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have experience in a public-listed company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting and internal controls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good understanding of Malaysian financial reporting standards, tax and statutory compliance requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be able to travel to Langkawi periodically OR be based in Langkawi.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving and business partnering capability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effective communication and interpersonal skill.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good planning, organization and report-writing skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High integrity, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, you may reach out to Cheryl Soh via email (cheryl.soh@peoplelake.asia) or WhatsApp (+6018-772 3437)<br><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the company: Our client is a diversified Malaysian public-listed group with operations in energy, F&amp;B, tourism, and manufacturing.
