Known for strong governance and a professional culture, the company is expanding and creating new opportunities within its portfolio management team.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Role:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><br>This is a newly created Manager, Portfolio Management role reporting directly to the Head of Portfolio Management. The position focuses on asset-level strategy and performance optimisation, rather than investment or fund allocation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develop and execute asset strategies to enhance property value and achieve financial targets. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead and manage asset enhancement initiatives (AEIs), ensuring delivery within approved financial parameters. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with property management teams to ensure safe, compliant, and sustainable operations. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide financial oversight and commercial guidance on landlord-related matters. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build and maintain financial and asset models to assess performance and identify value improvement opportunities. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the investment team in the evaluation of potential acquisitions. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all proposals and approvals adhere to regulatory, governance, and legal standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum 3 years of experience in the real estate industry, with a solid understanding of commercial or industrial property investment and property\/facilities management. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated ability to achieve team-based financial targets and influence stakeholders without direct authority. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Background in engineering or management accounting is an added advantage. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposure to non-retail assets (e.g., industrial or logistics properties) is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, you may reach out to Grace Tan via email (grace.tan@peoplelake.asia) or WhatsApp (+6018-780 1215)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please be informed that only shortlisted candidate will be notified.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the company: A well-established Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) manager in Malaysia, backed by one of Asia\u2019s largest real estate groups, managing a diversified portfolio of quality properties.
