They possess full-chain capabilities, encompassing product design, manufacturing, sales and service, and provides a comprehensive one-stop solution for both standardized and customized products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the role:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations including supplier management, procurement, production planning, logistics coordination, warehouse management, and material handling. The role ensures timely supplier management, material availability, cost control, inventory accuracy, and smooth production flow to support factory operations and delivery commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Supplier Management &amp; Procurement (Core Accountability)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Own supplier coordination for direct materials and key indirect materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage supplier sourcing, evaluation, price negotiation, and performance monitoring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead supplier OTIF, lead time, MOQ, and cost discussions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive supplier localization and alternative sourcing to reduce risk and cost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with Quality for supplier quality issues, containment, and corrective actions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare supplier performance review (QCD).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Production &amp; Material Planning<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Translate sales demand into production and material plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare weekly and monthly material requirement planning (MRP).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure material availability to support production schedule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Highlight supply risks, shortages, and mitigation plans early.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Control slow-moving and excess inventory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Logistics &amp; Export Coordination<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage inbound and outbound logistics (local &amp; export).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and customs agents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure shipping documentation accuracy (Invoice, Packing List, COO, BL, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Control logistics cost and propose optimization initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support export delivery commitment and customer shipment schedule.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Warehouse &amp; Material Handling Oversight<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Oversee warehouse operations: receiving, storage, issuance, and stock accuracy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure FIFO \/ FEFO practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead periodic cycle count and annual stock take.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve warehouse layout, material flow, and handling efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure warehouse safety, labeling, and housekeeping standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Cost Control &amp; Performance Management<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Track and analyze<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Material cost trends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Inventory turnover<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive cost reduction initiatives (sourcing, logistics, inventory).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare monthly supply chain performance report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Compliance &amp; System Discipline<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure ERP system accuracy (PO, GRN, inventory movements).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain proper documentation for audit and regulatory compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support ISO, internal, and external audits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with customs, COO, and trade regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Ensure 6S and housekeeping for work station or area.<br>8. To follow strictly safety, health and environmental regulatory, standard procedures &amp; requirement.<br>9. To adhere &amp; comply with Company policies, rules, regulations and government legislation.<br>10. Any other tasks or duties as assigned by superior\/management from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Requirements:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Diploma\/Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3-5 years in supply chain \/ procurement \/ planning in manufacturing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Factory startup or ramp-up experience is a strong advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HVAC \/ electronics \/ appliance industry exposure preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with supplier negotiation and coordination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with MRP &amp; inventory control.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with customs, import\/export documentation knowledge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ERP system proficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong Excel &amp; data analysis skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to work under pressure, adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency &amp; experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, you may reach out to Cheryl Soh via email (cheryl.soh@peoplelake.asia) or WhatsApp (+6018-772 3437)<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About our client: Our client is a technology-driven manufacturer and supplier specializing in heating ventilation, air conditioning, and control systems for residential, commercial, and industrial market.
