It operates a centralised finance and accounting hub that drives financial control, reporting, and standardisation across the organisation. The team works in a shared services environment, partnering closely with international business units to support performance and decision-making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare and consolidate monthly management reports (Actual, Flash, Forecast).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform variance analysis, identify key drivers, and highlight business trends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct cost and profitability analysis to support performance tracking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and maintain dashboards and key financial performance indicators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure accuracy of standard cost calculations and reporting integrity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partner with Operations and Commercial teams as a Finance Business Partner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support financial control reporting and ad-hoc analytical requests.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (professional qualification is an advantage).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Control \/ Financial Controlling roles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong experience in cost and revenue analysis with a commercial mindset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven ability to act as a business partner and support decision-making through insights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in shipping\/maritime industry is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Big 4 audit background is an added advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of SAP or Oracle is a plus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>THIS ROLE IS OPEN TO MALAYSIANS ONLY.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kindly contact Dharsh via WhatsApp at 012-9191780 or via email at dharshini.nelamagan@peoplelake.asia if you are keen to explore this opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Client Our client is part of a leading global shipping and logistics group, supporting worldwide transport and supply chain operations.
