Their customer base spans over 50 markets globally, including Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and the Americas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join the finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial operations across the group. You will be responsible for full-set accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, cash flow monitoring, and process improvements. This position also offers the opportunity to lead junior staff, liaise with external stakeholders, and participate in system implementation projects and other finance-related initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Full-Set Accounting:<\/strong>\u00a0Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Financial Closing:<\/strong>\u00a0Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities in a timely and accurate manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reporting:<\/strong>\u00a0Prepare management reports, financial statements, and cash flow forecasts for management review.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Compliance:<\/strong>\u00a0Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements (including SST\/GST and corporate tax submissions).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stakeholder Liaison:<\/strong>\u00a0Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and regulatory authorities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Treasury &amp; Cash Flow:<\/strong>\u00a0Monitor cash flow and treasury functions to ensure sufficient working capital.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Process Improvement:<\/strong>\u00a0Review and improve accounting processes, financial controls, and operational efficiencies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Team Supervision:<\/strong>\u00a0Supervise and guide junior finance staff when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Record Maintenance:<\/strong>\u00a0Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of accounting records and supporting documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Projects &amp; Ad-Hoc:<\/strong>\u00a0Participate in finance-related projects, system implementation initiatives, and handle ad-hoc assignments as assigned by management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong>\u00a0Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA\/CPA).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Professional Membership:<\/strong>\u00a0Certified MIA member.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong>\u00a0Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance or accounting, preferably with exposure to operational or manufacturing accounting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technical Knowledge:<\/strong>\u00a0Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Software Skills:<\/strong>\u00a0Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Soft Skills:<\/strong>\u00a0Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Personal Attributes:<\/strong>\u00a0Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please be informed that only shortlisted candidate will be notified.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information, you may reach out to Jamie at her email at <strong>jamie.tan@peoplelake.asia<\/strong> or WhatsApp her at <strong>+6012 238 9953<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the Client Our client is a regional industrial automation and power system provider, specializing in the design, manufacturing, and integration of process control systems, power distribution panels, and Ex solar PV systems.
