The Group is a global leader in shipping and logistics, providing reliable transport and supply chain solutions worldwide with a strong focus on innovation and sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the role:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To issue and analyze the management and accounting data of designated entities (lines) in order to support critical and timely business operations decisions. The incumbent will support Assistant Manager and Manager of Business Control. Main task is to prepare various types of line management reports (actual, forecasts and gap analysis) and perform business analysis for purpose of business performance measurement and monitoring of costs control and profitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Obtain, validate and extract relevant information from various systems and Business Units to produce reports and perform data analysis on a timely basis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure accuracy in the computation of standard costs and make revisions as required<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collate and compile information and prepare various indicators \/ dashboards to support decision making process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare profitability analysis as and when required by Superior<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend to any ad-hoc requests and contribute to problem solving for ad-hoc issues arising during period close or voyage completion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support in the periodic Financial Control reporting and review or any other projects and tasks assigned from time to time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor Accounting Degree or complete full \/ partial Professional Degree in Finance\/Accounting\/Business Admin\/Shipping \/ (Min CGPA 3.0 and above)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar function, preferably from a maritime or financial environment in Finance Controller.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposure in Audit Big 4 is preferable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Words and Power point)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excel at least intermediate level, can perform PIVOT, V-Lookup, and various functions &amp; formulas)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong cost accounting knowledge, data analysis and diagnosis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge in financial control, accounting process and analysis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information, you may reach out to Cheryl Soh via email (cheryl.soh@peoplelake.asia) or WhatsApp (+6018-772 3437).<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About our client: A financial expertise centre which delivers non-transactional, value-adding functions to its Group to support the Group&#8217;s transformation and drive financial performance for key stakeholders.
