and enhancement of machine control systems for advanced solar wafer and cell inspection equipment, providing technical leadership in PLC software development, control architecture, motion system integration, and commissioning across both inline and standalone automation machines, while working on complex platforms involving servo motion, gantry systems, multi\u2011axis synchronization, robotics integration, and industrial PC\u2011based control system<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><br>\u2022Lead design and development of PLC-based machine control systems.<br>\u2022Improve and maintain existing PLC software framework and architecture.<br>\u2022Redesign or rebuild control architecture when required for performance and scalability.<br>\u2022Define machine control standards, software structure, and reusable libraries.<br>\u2022Lead integration of servo systems, gantry motion, and multi-axis synchronization.<br>\u2022Coordinate PLC integration with robots, vision systems, and PC-based control software.<br>\u2022Ensure reliable real-time data exchange between PLC and PC systems.<br>\u2022Lead machine commissioning, debugging, and site troubleshooting activities.<br>\u2022Mentor and guide junior PLC engineers in technical execution and development.<br>\u2022Drive continuous improvement in machine reliability, cycle time, and software efficiency.<br>\u2022Support technical discussions with internal teams and customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><br>\u2022Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related field.<br>\u2022Minimum 5 years of experience in machine automation or controls engineering.<br>\u2022Strong PLC programming experience in industrial automation machines.<br>\u2022Proven experience in servo motion control and multi-axis synchronization systems.<br>\u2022Experience working with gantry systems, robotics integration, or high-speed automation machines.<br>\u2022Strong understanding of machine communication systems (Ethernet\/IP, Modbus TCP, OPC UA, TCP\/IP, EtherCAT).<br>\u2022Experience in machine commissioning and field troubleshooting.<br>\u2022Ability to lead technical decisions and mentor engineering teams.<br>\u2022Strong problem-solving skills in complex machine behavior and system-level debugging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Preferred Experience<\/strong><br>\u2022Experience with Keyence PLC and\/or Omron PLC systems.<br>\u2022Experience in semiconductor equipment, solar inspection systems, or high-precision automation machines.<br>\u2022Exposure to linear motor systems or high-performance motion platforms.<br>\u2022Experience improving or building PLC software frameworks or libraries.<br>\u2022Familiarity with structured machine control architecture
