{"id":18596,"date":"2026-08-11T11:25:05","date_gmt":"2026-08-11T03:25:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=18596"},"modified":"2026-08-11T11:25:06","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T03:25:06","slug":"mechanical-engineer-multiple-locations","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/zh\/jobs\/mechanical-engineer-multiple-locations\/","title":{"rendered":"Mechanical Engineer (multiple locations)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About our client:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A company that provides specialised consultation and commissioning engineering services for the Data Center Industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Term:<\/strong> 2 years contract, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position based on your performance during this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead and manage the commissioning (Cx) of mechanical and electrical systems for hyperscale data center projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan, execute, and witness Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Pre-Start-Up Testing (PST), Performance Testing, Functional Testing, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and review commissioning plans, schedules, procedures, and test scripts to ensure successful project delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate system integration, testing, and commissioning activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review contractor method statements and manufacturer test procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry best practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and present weekly and monthly commissioning progress reports, highlighting project status, key milestones, risks, and mitigation plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum <strong>5 years of relevant experience<\/strong>, including at least <strong>3 years in data center commissioning, data center M&amp;E design, or other mission-critical facilities.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong <strong>knowledge of data center HVAC systems, commissioning activities, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with various electrical and mechanical system topologies designed for site redundancy, concurrent maintainability, and fault-tolerant operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and technical documentation skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and delivering mission-critical projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information, you may reach out to Cheryl Soh via email (cheryl.soh@peoplelake.asia) or WhatsApp (+6018-772 3437)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About our client: A company that provides specialised consultation and commissioning engineering services for the Data Center Industry.
