Job Summary<\/strong>
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for leading the Group\u2019s overall financial strategy, financial management, governance and risk management. The CFO serves as a key strategic partner to the CEO and Board in driving sustainable growth, profitability and long-term financial stability across the Group and its subsidiaries<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Business Planning
\u2022Develop and execute Group financial strategy aligned with business objectives
\u2022Advise CEO and Board on financial performance, strategy, and growth opportunities
\u2022Lead long\u2011term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
\u2022Evaluate financial viability of new businesses, projects, and investments
\u2022Support strategic initiatives (M&A, restructuring, joint ventures, corporate exercises)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Financial Performance & Management Reporting
\u2022Oversee financial performance of Group, subsidiaries, and business units
\u2022Monitor revenue, profitability, margins, costs, and KPIs
\u2022Review monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts\/reports
\u2022Lead Group consolidation and ensure accurate, timely reporting
\u2022Provide financial analysis and insights for decision\u2011making
\u2022Drive corrective action for underperforming businesses or budget variances<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Treasury, Cash Flow & Funding
\u2022Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management
\u2022Develop funding and capital management strategy
\u2022Manage banking facilities, financing arrangements, and relationships
\u2022Ensure efficient allocation\/utilisation of funds across subsidiaries
\u2022Monitor financial commitments, debt obligations, and funding needs
\u2022Optimise capital structure and financing costs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Budgeting & Cost Management
\u2022Lead annual budgeting and forecasting process
\u2022Monitor performance against approved budgets
\u2022Drive cost optimisation and financial discipline
\u2022Collaborate with Business Unit Heads to improve profitability
\u2022Review major CAPEX, OPEX, and investment proposals<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Governance, Risk & Compliance
\u2022Establish and strengthen financial policies, SOPs, and internal controls
\u2022Ensure compliance with MFRS, taxation, statutory requirements, regulations
\u2022Oversee financial risk management (liquidity, credit, investment, exposure)
\u2022Safeguard Group assets with appropriate controls
\u2022Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, regulators, and advisers
\u2022Support Board\/committees on governance and risk matters<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investment & Corporate Finance
\u2022Evaluate investments, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships
\u2022Lead financial modelling, feasibility studies, and due diligence
\u2022Support fundraising and capital\u2011raising activities
\u2022Assess investment returns, risks, and commercial viability
\u2022Monitor performance of approved investments\/projects<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finance Team Leadership
\u2022Lead and develop Group Finance function (Controller, Treasury, Accounts)
\u2022Define responsibilities, KPIs, and performance expectations
\u2022Develop finance talent and succession planning
\u2022Promote collaboration between Finance and other functions
\u2022Drive improvements in systems, automation, and reporting<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board & Stakeholder Management
\u2022Present financial performance, forecasts, and recommendations to CEO\/Board
\u2022Provide clear insights to support business decisions
\u2022Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, regulators, investors, stakeholders
\u2022Represent Group on financial matters when required<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements<\/strong>
\u2022Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
\u2022Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW) highly preferred
\u2022Minimum 15 years progressive finance experience with senior leadership exposure
\u2022Strong background in Group finance, consolidation, treasury, corporate finance, budgeting, planning
\u2022Experience managing finance across multiple subsidiaries\/diversified businesses
\u2022Public listed company experience highly preferred
\u2022Strong knowledge of MFRS, governance, internal controls, compliance
\u2022Commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical capabilities
\u2022High integrity, sound judgement, and accountability<\/p>\n\n\n\n
