Their office is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Position Summary:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to run the day-to-day operations of the HVAC\/ACMV business, covering both project\/contract work and ongoing servicing &amp; maintenance contracts. This role required hands-on including overseeing daily technician dispatch, keeping the office back-end running smoothly, and making sure jobs are quoted, scheduled, executed, and billed without things falling through the cracks. This role needs someone with a technical background who is equally comfortable on the tools, on the phone with a client, and behind a desk managing the numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(i) Projects &amp; Contracts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Oversee project execution for HVAC\/ACMV installation and retrofit works, from award through handover.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review technical proposals, quotations, and variation orders before client submission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage project costing and budgets; accountable for margins on both projects and service contracts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers on pricing and delivery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(ii) Servicing &amp; Maintenance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage day-to-day dispatch of technicians for servicing, preventive maintenance, and breakdown\/call out jobs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plan and maintain the daily\/weekly technician schedule, balancing manpower against job load and urgency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Track service contract renewals, PM schedules, and ensure SLAs\/response times are met.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle escalations from clients on breakdowns or service quality issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review job sheets, service reports, and spare parts usage submitted by technicians.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>(iii) Office &amp; Team Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Oversee office back-end flow, including job order processing, invoicing, quotation follow-ups, and documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate between office admin staff, technicians, and site engineers to keep information flowing both ways.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead, mentor, and manage performance of technicians, service engineers, and back-office staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain records for compliance, warranty, and audit purposes (service history, job costing, safety documentation).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report regularly to the Business Development Director\/CEO on operations, financials, and manpower issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 8 to 10 years in the HVAC\/ACMV industry, with experience across both projects and servicing\/maintenance operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prior experience managing a technician team and daily dispatch\/scheduling (not purely project-based background)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable managing office administrative flow (job orders, invoicing, documentation), not just field operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven track record handling budgets, costing, or P&amp;L for a team or division.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong technical grounding in ACMV systems, able to read drawings and troubleshoot with technicians when needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diploma\/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational, client-facing, and people management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Interested to Apply?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interested candidates may submit their resume to Ms. Gina Koh (Recruitment Consultant) via WhatsApp at\u00a0<strong>+6016-6948780\u00a0<\/strong>or via email at\u00a0<strong>gina.koh@peoplelake.asia\u00a0<\/strong>for a prompt hiring process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About Our Client: Our client is a leading and well-established MEP specialist providing comprehensive engineering solutions across a wide range of services, including ACMV systems, Fire Protection, Cold Water &amp; Plumbing, and Electrical Engineering.
