As they continue to expand their footprint in the local market, they are looking for a seasoned finance professional to join their leadership team and drive financial strategy and performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are seeking an experienced and strategic&nbsp;<strong>Finance Manager<\/strong>&nbsp;to lead the finance function for our client\u2019s Malaysia operations. This role is responsible for overseeing all financial planning, accounting, compliance, treasury, and risk management activities. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a solid background in retail finance, capable of providing actionable insights to support business growth while ensuring robust financial controls and regulatory compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Financial Planning &amp; Analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to support business growth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare detailed financial reports, including profit &amp; loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Accounting &amp; Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee general ledger, accounts payable\/receivable, and inventory accounting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate external audits, tax matters, and regulatory reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. Cash Flow &amp; Treasury Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Optimize working capital and manage banking relationships effectively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4. Internal Controls &amp; Risk Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>5.
