They are seeking a motivated and experienced HVAC Quality Engineer to support our growing Data Center business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>HVAC System Quality Management<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Oversee the quality supervision and process control of HVAC systems for data centre projects, including chilled water systems, precision air-conditioning systems, supply and exhaust ventilation systems, and temperature\/humidity control systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review construction drawings and technical documentation to ensure that on-site works are carried out in accordance with the approved design.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct quality inspections on materials, equipment, and installation workmanship to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, specifications, and project requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating HVAC quality inspection checklists and documentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Construction &amp; Inspection Coordination<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coordinate and organise intermediate inspections, concealed works inspections, and witnessing of system testing and commissioning activities in line with the construction schedule.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain effective technical communication with the China-based technical team and consultants to ensure consistent understanding and implementation of construction standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow up on inspection comments and observations raised by the PMC\/Consultants, coordinate rectification works, and ensure the necessary documentation is submitted for re-inspection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in equipment inspections, including FAT\/SAT activities, system testing, commissioning, and final handover.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Documentation &amp; Submission<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare and\/or review HVAC-related quality and technical submission documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in translating technical documentation between Chinese, English, and Malay, ensuring that documents meet consultant review and approval requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work closely with the Documentation\/Document Control team to ensure quality records are complete, properly maintained, and fully traceable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Quality Management System Implementation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Implement and maintain the company&#8217;s and project&#8217;s QA\/QC systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and established quality control procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in internal quality audits, quality review meetings, and corrective action activities, ensuring that identified issues are properly followed up and closed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in developing inspection standards, technical guidelines, and SOPs for HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"5\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Technical Support &amp; Training<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provide technical guidance and support to local construction teams and subcontractors during HVAC installation works.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train and guide on-site QA\/QC personnel and construction teams in understanding and implementing China-originated drawings, technical specifications, and standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide Mandarin-English-B. Malaysia language support to facilitate effective communication and minimise quality risks arising from language differences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Mechanical &amp; Electrical (M&amp;E) Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC installation\/construction or quality management for large-scale construction projects or data centres. Experience in international projects or projects involving Chinese-invested companies is highly preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Malaysian Chinese candidates are preferred; Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia, and English, with the ability to communicate effectively and prepare technical documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including system components, installation standards, commissioning procedures, testing requirements, and relevant industry standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, and ISO. Able to read and interpret technical drawings in both Chinese and English, capable of conducting independent quality inspections and quality control checks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, PDF Markup tools, and quality management forms\/templates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, responsible, and strong in communication and coordination. Able to coordinating technical requirements and resolving differences between Chinese technical teams and Thai consultants.
