The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who is also operationally proficient, capable of managing day-to-day HR generalist duties while partnering with leadership to drive firm-wide initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Full-Spectrum HR Management:<\/strong> Lead and manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compensation &amp; benefits, and offboarding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Payroll Oversight:<\/strong> Act as the final checkpoint for monthly payroll. Cross-check payroll outputs processed by the Payroll PIC against statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and employment contracts to ensure 100% accuracy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Team Leadership:<\/strong> Provide guidance, mentorship, and supervision, ensuring smooth daily operations of the department.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Policy &amp; Compliance:<\/strong> Develop, review, and implement HR policies and Employee Handbooks in line with Malaysian Employment Act and current labor laws. Ensure the firm remains compliant with all statutory regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employee Relations &amp; Culture:<\/strong> Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters. Handle disciplinary issues and grievances professionally, fostering a positive and respectful work environment aligned with the firm\u2019s core values.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Talent Acquisition:<\/strong> Manage the full recruitment cycle for legal and support staff roles, from job posting and screening to interviewing and offer management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Performance Management:<\/strong> Coordinate the performance review cycle, assist managers in setting KPIs, and support employee development plans.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Minimum <strong>8 years<\/strong> of progressive HR experience, with at least <strong>3 years<\/strong> in a managerial or supervisory capacity handling the full spectrum of HR.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Knowledge:<\/strong> Strong, up-to-date knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations practices, and statutory submission procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Payroll Competency:<\/strong> While not required to perform the calculation, must possess sufficient payroll knowledge to effectively review and validate the work of the Payroll PIC.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Soft Skills:<\/strong> Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and discretion, given the confidential nature of the work within a professional services environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Leadership:<\/strong> Proven ability to lead and develop a small team.
