The role will be responsible for developing qualified suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts, ensuring reliable material supply, and driving cost optimisation and annual cost reduction initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The successful candidate will work closely with production and cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier performance, evaluate procurement costs and ensure materials meet the required quality, cost and delivery standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead supplier sourcing, development, evaluation and performance management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Negotiate pricing, contracts, quality and supply terms with suppliers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop sourcing strategies for raw materials and maintain qualified supplier lists.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct quotation comparisons, price reviews and cost analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive cost optimisation and annual cost reduction initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage supplier relationships and resolve sourcing\/supply issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support material development and product\/material selection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead and coordinate the sourcing team, including work allocation and performance evaluation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with production and other departments to ensure smooth material supply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum 5 years of sourcing\/procurement experience, preferably in engineering\/manufacturing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong supplier negotiation, sourcing and vendor management experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good knowledge of cost analysis, cost modelling and procurement strategy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with SAP\/ERP and Microsoft Office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of engineering drawings, inventory management and material handling equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mandarin proficiency is required for supplier communication.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please be informed that only shortlisted candidate will be notified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information, you may reach out to Charmaine at her email at <a href=\"mailto:charmaine.loo@peoplelake.asia\">charmaine.loo@peoplelake.asia<\/a> or WhatsApp her at +6017 4622500<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Sourcing Lead to lead sourcing and procurement activities.
