{"id":3339,"date":"2024-03-21T10:24:35","date_gmt":"2024-03-21T10:24:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=3339"},"modified":"2024-09-02T17:34:47","modified_gmt":"2024-09-02T17:34:47","slug":"business-development-manager-law-firm","status":"expired","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/zh\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&p=3339","title":{"rendered":"Business Development Manager (Law Firm)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Why Should You Apply For The Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunity to work in one of the largest and most established law firm in Malaysia.<\/li>\n<li>Great career exposure and development to HR, Administration and Operation related works.<\/li>\n<li>Good remuneration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Works closely with the partner-in-charge of business development and\/or the heads of departments in developing and implementing long-term and short-term strategic business development objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse existing clients and identify prospective clients, competitors\u2019 activities and market trends and opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Strategize, propose (to the partner-in-charge of business development and\/or heads of departments) and implement sustainable initiatives to promote:<br \/>\n\u2022 Brand awareness (to external parties)<br \/>\n\u2022 Market knowledge (know your market, know your clients)<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide business development support<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify business opportunities<br \/>\n\u2022 Nurture and\/or manage client relationship<br \/>\n\u2022 Cross-sell and up-sell<\/li>\n<li>Active business support to the various departments of the firm.<\/li>\n<li>Manage, draft or proof-read all the firm\u2019s external marketing communication (including the firm\u2019s profile, departmental profiles, legal updates, website, and social media) and obtain the approval from the partner-in-charge of business development before publication.<\/li>\n<li>Manage, draft or proof-read and obtain the approval from the partner-in charge of business development before submitting\/uploading the firm\u2019s submissions to selected ranked publications and legal directories (e.g., Chambers and Partners, Legal500, Asialaw Profiles)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in advertising, business and finance, commerce, business communication, marketing or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years working experience as a business development manager in a law firm or similar setting.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and graphic design programmes or applications (e.g. Canva, Adobe Illustrator).<\/li>\n<li>Confidence and a positive attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills and business acumen.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to adapt easily and work in a fast-paced environment with high expectations for client service, collaboration, teamwork, attention to detail and meeting deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay<\/li>\n<li>Ability to creatively communicate the firm\u2019s message.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Added Advantage:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A recognised law degree<\/li>\n<li>Called to the Malaysian Bar<\/li>\n<li>Undertaken formal training in business development<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin\/Chinese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About The Company: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our client is one of the oldest and largest law firms in Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Interested to apply?
