    Job Description:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1) Market Research and Analysis:<\/p>\n

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and new business opportunities.<\/li>\n
    • Analyze competitor strategies and market dynamics to develop effective business development strategies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      2) Client Relationship Management:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.<\/li>\n
      • Identify key clients and develop strategies to expand business with them.<\/li>\n
      • Act as a liaison between clients and the legal team to ensure client satisfaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        3) Strategic Planning:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Develop and implement business development plans aligned with the firm\u2019s overall strategy.<\/li>\n
        • Work with senior management to set realistic goals and objectives for business growth.<\/li>\n
        • Monitor and report on the progress of business development initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          4) Marketing Collateral Management:<\/p>\n

          • Manage, draft or proof-read all the firm\u2019s external marketing communication (including the firm\u2019s profile, departmental profiles, legal updates, website, and social media).<\/li>\n
          • Manage, draft or proof-read the firm\u2019s submissions to selected ranked publications and legal directories (e.g., Chambers and Partners, Legal500,\u00a0 Asialaw Profiles)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            5) Marketing Collaboration:<\/p>\n

              \n
            • Collaborate with external party(ies) to develop and execute marketing campaigns.<\/li>\n
            • Utilize digital marketing, social media, and other channels to enhance the firm\u2019s visibility.<\/li>\n
            • Provide input on the development of marketing materials and collateral.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              6) Client Feedback and Market Intelligence:<\/p>\n

              • Gather client feedback to improve services and client satisfaction.<\/li>\n
              • Stay informed about changes in the legal landscape and provide market intelligence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                7) Budget Management:<\/p>\n

                • Manage and allocate the budget for business development initiatives.<\/li>\n
                • Track expenses and ensure cost-effective strategies are employed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  1) Experience:<\/p>\n

                  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in the legal industry or related fields.<\/li>\n
                  • A track record of successfully expanding market presence and driving growth in regional or similar contexts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    2) Education:<\/p>\n

                      \n
                    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field. A Master\u2019s degree is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      3) Market Knowledge:<\/p>\n

                        \n
                      • In-depth understanding of the legal landscape, industry trends, and market dynamics, especially in Malaysia.<\/li>\n
                      • Familiarity with regional business practices and cultural nuances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                        4) Networking Skills:<\/p>\n

                          \n
                        • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish connections within the Malaysian and \/or other jurisdictions\u2019 legal and business community.<\/li>\n
                        • Existing regional connections and networks are advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                          5) Strategic Thinking:<\/p>\n

                          • Proven ability to develop and implement effective business development strategies aligned with organizational goals.<\/li>\n
                          • Experience in market entry planning and execution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                            6) Communication Skills:<\/p>\n

                            • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Malay or other local languages is a plus.<\/li>\n
