{"id":4498,"date":"2024-04-05T05:30:34","date_gmt":"2024-04-05T05:30:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=4498"},"modified":"2024-09-02T16:50:48","modified_gmt":"2024-09-02T16:50:48","slug":"senior-global-tax-specialist","status":"expired","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/peoplelake.asia\/zh\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&p=4498","title":{"rendered":"Senior Global Tax Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Why Should You Apply For The Job:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work in fast growing multi-national Fintech company with strong presence in Worldwide.<\/li>\n<li>Great career exposure and development opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>Good remuneration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Ensure all entities and activities in the relevant regions meet all tax compliance requirements, including corporation tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing and withholding taxes (in-house and\/or using outsource providers, where appropriate).<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for Malaysia tax compliance matters and\/or other SEA countries\u2019 tax compliance matters.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for statutory accounts disclosure notes in relation to tax and resolve all tax related issues with year-end statutory audit team and monthly accounting for tax.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the business details of the entities and work with finance team closely to complete the tax compliance work.<\/li>\n<li>Communication with tax authorities on regular tax compliance matters; response to the inquiries from tax authorities; work with external advisors to defend tax audits.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>University degree, with advanced degree or professional qualification in tax or law preferred (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 4 years working experience (in house corporate tax experience + tax firm experience is preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of international taxation laws and regulations, with Malaysia tax background + SEA countries\u2019 tax knowledge preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Should have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Should be proactive and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines with ability to multi-task.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent\u00a0<strong>Mandarin<\/strong> listening, speaking, reading and writing skills is preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking countries&#8217; stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Remark: This position is only open for Malaysian candidates at the moment.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About The Company<\/strong><br \/>\nOur client is a world-renowned fintech company with strong presence in APAC and the rest of the world.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Interested to apply?
