Business Development & Marketing (Hybrid/ Law Firm)

About the company:

Our client is a full-service law firm, providing both advisory and litigation services across a wide range of practice areas including dispute resolution, construction, real estate, and family law. The firm serves individuals, corporations, and developers with tailored legal solutions. The firm is based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute a full range of business development and marketing activities for various legal practice groups.
• Coordinate and prepare client proposals, pitches, and capability statements.
• Manage the production and promotion of events (webinars, seminars, client roundtables, etc.), including logistics and post-event follow-up.
• Develop and update marketing collaterals (brochures, profiles, newsletters, etc.).
• Prepare and submit legal directory submissions (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500), ensuring accurate and timely contributions.
• Create, manage, and schedule social media content (legal insights and general brand content) across platforms including Xiaohongshu (XHS) and Facebook.
• Track and analyse engagement metrics to continuously improve social media performance.
• Support and lead ad-hoc marketing projects and firm-wide campaigns.
• Maintain internal databases and assist in the development of CRM initiatives.
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a business development or marketing role within the legal industry.
• Strong understanding of legal services and market dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Malay, English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) and social media platforms is a plus.
• Must have a portfolio showcasing past work in social media content, marketing materials, or campaign execution relevant to the legal or professional services industry.
• Detail-oriented, resourceful, and highly organized.
