R&D Manager / Team Lead – Snacks & Noodles

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced R&D Team Lead / Manager (Snack & Noodle Category) to lead product innovation, renovation, and cost optimization initiatives within the food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end product development from concept and formulation to commercialization while managing R&D projects, budgets, and a team of food technologists. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, market-relevant products that meet taste, quality, regulatory, and margin requirements.


Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end R&D activities for snack and noodle products, from concept development to commercialization.
Develop and test product formulations, prototypes, and packaging solutions based on market trends and consumer insights.
Drive product renovation to improve taste, quality, stability, and cost efficiency.
Manage R&D projects including timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination.
Oversee product costing, margin control, and cost optimization initiatives.
Collaborate with Product Development, QA, Regulatory, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth launches.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of food technologists, fostering a high-performance and innovative culture.

Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
5–8 years of hands-on R&D experience in snack, noodle, seasoning, or dry mix food manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of product development, food regulations, and packaging engineering.
Proven leadership, project management, and cost optimization capabilities.
Creative, results-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
