About the Job
This is a newly created Manager, Portfolio Management position, reporting directly to the Head of Portfolio Management. The role focuses on asset-level strategy and performance optimization rather than pure investment or fund allocation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Formulating and executing asset strategies to improve property value and meet financial targets.
- Overseeing asset enhancement initiatives (AEIs) and ensuring they are delivered within financial measures.
- Collaborating closely with property managers to maintain safe, compliant, and sustainable operations.
- Providing financial gatekeeping and commercial leadership on landlord-related scopes.
- Developing financial and asset models to analyze property performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Supporting the investment team in evaluating acquisition targets.
- Ensuring all approvals comply with regulatory, governance, and legal requirements.
Key requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of real estate industry experience with strong understanding of commercial/industrial property investment and property/facilities management.
- Proven ability to meet team-based financial targets and influence others without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Engineering or management accounting background is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Experience with non-retail assets (e.g., industrial, logistics) is preferred.
