Known for strong governance and a professional culture, the company is expanding and creating new opportunities within its portfolio management team.
About the Role:
This is a newly created Manager, Portfolio Management role reporting directly to the Head of Portfolio Management. The position focuses on asset-level strategy and performance optimisation, rather than investment or fund allocation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute asset strategies to enhance property value and achieve financial targets.
- Lead and manage asset enhancement initiatives (AEIs), ensuring delivery within approved financial parameters.
- Work closely with property management teams to ensure safe, compliant, and sustainable operations.
- Provide financial oversight and commercial guidance on landlord-related matters.
- Build and maintain financial and asset models to assess performance and identify value improvement opportunities.
- Support the investment team in the evaluation of potential acquisitions.
- Ensure all proposals and approvals adhere to regulatory, governance, and legal standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the real estate industry, with a solid understanding of commercial or industrial property investment and property/facilities management.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve team-based financial targets and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Background in engineering or management accounting is an added advantage.
- Exposure to non-retail assets (e.g., industrial or logistics properties) is preferred.
